Learning Support

Students in Years 8 to 10 and students at Walker House have access to the on-line tutoring service Yourtutor. The service provides instantaneous support, from professional tutors, to help your child with their studies and is available for 48 weeks of the year, Sunday to Friday from 4.00pm to 10.00pm. Yourtutor provides assistance with homework in English, maths and science, assignment and general research across most subject areas, study skills, and examination preparation and revision.

The service operates via the internet. Your child simply logs onto a secure website and in about a minute they are connected to a tutor in their chosen subject area and year level. 

All students have been trained to use Yourtutor, have been provided with log on details and a password and are therefore able to make immediate use of the service. 

Our partner in delivering Yourtutor, Tutoring Australasia, provides extensive customer and technical support to ensure all families are able to gain maximum benefit from the service.
