1973 Reunion Photo Gallery

The Class of 73 had a great weekend reunion starting at John and Kim Hepper's home on Saturday afternoon of the 17th of May followed by the big reunion dinner that night. Over sixty class members had a great night reflecting on their time at Friends in the late 60's and early 70's. After the main meal the group was delighted to hear four current year 10 students sing Alma Mater and then John Hepper led a "pass the mike" session and introduced some wonderful film footage of Bill Oats farewell which was held on the lower grounds of the Commercial Road campus.

Steve McQueeney then spoke about the school today, highlighting the recent purchase of the "Environmental Camp" Far South near Dover and the amazing academic and service results the School has achieved in the recent past. Steve then led a tour of Hobartville and highlighted some
of the recent changes that have taken place in the High School. The weekends event concluded with a breakfast at the newly renovated Friends School Boat Sheds on Newtown Bay. Mark Nicholson was a great host/cook and a few "old Rowers" took the chance to lubricate their joints and hit the water.
